Head Housekeeper & Organizer for Family of Five, Former Teacher Ideal, Corona del Mar
Corona del Mar, CA. Full-time. Live-in or live-out. $29 to $38+ an hour plus bonus.

This is a hands-on cleaning and organizing role in a home with three young kids. You need to truly know how to clean, at a very high standard. You also need to know kids: how to work around them, keep them safe, bring them into the work and lead them when they're with you. You'll delegate when it makes sense, but everyone in our house executes, and so will you.

We're an entrepreneurial family of five. Three kids: 6, 3 and 1.5. A gentle dog. Our kids go to a farm school, so dirt under the fingernails is a good day here. We need someone who stays grounded in the chaos and brings rhythm and structure to our days.

Our home is kept to a 5-star hotel standard, inside and out. You clean on a schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal): kitchen reset after every meal, a full load of laundry done and put away daily, floors vacuumed and mopped, bathrooms deep cleaned, cars emptied and restocked daily, garage and exterior kept to the same standard. Everything labeled, everything with a home.

You lead the household team: our nanny plus vendors for carpets, detailing, landscaping, pool and repairs. You get quotes, schedule the work, hold vendors to the standard.

Waldorf or Montessori in practice: rhythm, independence, real work, time outside. Ideal fit: you've raised kids or taught young children at a Waldorf, Montessori or farm school, 5+ years running a household, or in childcare or luxury hospitality. CPR and first aid, valid license, clean driving record, background check and references.

Live-in includes a private room and meals. Our schedule shifts week to week: early mornings, evenings and weekends as needed. Starts hourly, W-2, plus bonus.

Daily household maintenance (no deep cleaning):
Make beds daily

; laundry (wash, fold, and put away);
ongoing home organization (toys, closets, seasonal decorations)
; prepare daily meals for the family
; keep the home clean, quiet, and well-organized
; dog care:
daily walks and feeding;
dog care when the family is traveling;
support with children as needed:
school drop-off and pick-up;
after-school activities;
occasional weekend, evening, and overnight help;
overnight help may be needed on some occasions for 7–10 consecutive days.
Requirements and Preferences:
Valid driver's license and driving experience

Spanish preferred; bilingual is a plus
; love dogs and be comfortable caring for pets;
organized, responsible, reliable, and punctual;
flexible availability.
