A little bit about us

Family is going on our annual beach vacation to Myrtle Beach for 1 week. Normally Saturday to Saturday. We will rent out a home with added room for nanny. Nanny will watch 4 kids while parents have time to themselves during the day for a few hours. Nanny will also monitor all kids on a baby camera when sleeping during nap time and bed time. Nanny will not be transporting kids anywhere. You will watch them inside the home.

Hi! I’m Lindsay. I’m a mother of two daughters, 6 and 2. I signed up for Nanny lane in search for childcare part time for my youngest. I’ve been a SAHM since she was born, but recently just graduated school and am in need of childcare part time (2 days a week) 8:30AM to 5:30PM to potentially full-time. She has never been with anyone but me, so to be expected I’m a little hesitant/anxious about leaving her with anyone but family. My ideal nanny/babysitter would be someone who doesn’t mind doing light meal prep and or cooking, and is great at entertaining my toddler and not just putting her in front of the TV to keep her entertained. We are an active family who loves being out doors and exploring nature. Arts, crafts, coloring, and drawing are some of our favorite activities we like to do, while also going for walks around the neighborhood and playing house with baby dolls of course! Must be comfortable with pets as we have a miniature Australian Shepard who is extremely friendly and loving and will drive you nuts if you don’t throw the frisbee for her haha so entertaining the dog some while outside would be great but definitely not a requirement :)

Schedule will rotate from week to week (generally two or three days each week and schedule is known well in advance) and will average approximately 50+ hours every two weeks. Potential for the need on a weekend no more than one weekend each month. Hours will be generally be 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with no expectation of completing any household chores.
