Part-Time Nanny Job: The Kumar Family with 2 Children
Part-Time Nanny Needed for Two School-Age Children (Walnut Creek)
We are a friendly family in Walnut Creek looking for a dependable, caring nanny to help with our two children (ages 5 and 8) as I return to work.
Afternoon Position
Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 4:00-6:00 PM
Responsibilities include:
Meeting the children at their neighborhood bus stop when they arrive from school (around 4:15 PM)
Driving them to after-school activities as needed (no freeway driving and within 15 minutes of home)
Providing an afternoon snack and/or preparing a simple dinner
Helping with homework or playtime as needed
Creating a safe, positive after-school routine until I arrive home around 6:00 PM
Additional Hours Available (Optional)
If you're looking for more hours, we'd be happy to extend the afternoon schedule to begin at 3:00 PM in exchange for helping with light household tasks before the children get home, such as:
Laundry
Meal prep
Loading/unloading the dishwasher
Light tidying and organization
Optional Morning Position (May be filled by the same or a different nanny)

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Piansay-Scahill Family with 2 Children
Since April 2022, we have shared an AMAZING nanny. Sadly, the other family has transitioned to daycare. Thus, we are in need of a new family (near Walnut Creek) to share her with. We love Jamie and are thrilled she has agreed to stay with us. She has taught our son how to make friends at the park. She also taught him his colors and how to say “please” and “thank you”. She has incredible experience with multiple kids. Before us, she helped a woman run a foster home! She is also great with our two dogs. My husband is a pediatrician at Stanford and Kaiser NICU; therefore, his schedule is odd. I work at a medical device company in Alameda and commute 3x per week. We are happy to host and equally happy to drop off our kids if the other family would like to host. Jamie works with us 35 hours/week, Monday - Friday; however, our hours are flexible.
