A little bit about us

I am having a home birth and I need someone to take care of my toddler during my birth so my husband can take care if me. I will need to be able to call someone and have them show up shortly after, so you must have open availability. Childbirth in the middle of the night is pretty typical, so we cannot rule this out. If it is in the middle of the night you can sleep if my son is sleeping.

About Our Family:
Hi! We’re a warm and welcoming family looking for a reliable, caring, and engaging sitter for our energetic and curious 2-year-old. We’re in the middle of a move to Lubbock, TX, so flexibility is a plus! We also have two friendly dogs—a Labrador and a Frenchie—so comfort around pets is important.

What We’re Looking For:
We need a sitter who is patient, responsible, and great with toddlers. Our little one loves playing outside, reading books, and exploring new activities. We’d love someone who can engage with them through play, help with meals/snacks, and handle nap routine.

Additional Details:
Experience with toddlers is a must
Must be comfortable with dogs (no pet care required)
CPR/First Aid certified is a big plus
We value someone who is punctual, communicative, and interactive
Light tidying related to child’s activities would be appreciated
