A little bit about us

Hi! We are looking for a part time nanny to join our care team!

We have a 1.5 year old (17 month) boy who is on the go! He loves his toy cars, books, and being outside. Dad is a teacher with Kent school district and Mom works from home (but on a separate floor of the house with headphones - will not be in the way!)

We are looking for care 2 days a week, with flexibility on exact days (Mondays and Wednesdays work well but able to be flexible with your schedule!). Hours 7:30am - 4:00pm. We don't have pets

We are looking for someone who will focus on play with him, including taking him on outings (to zoo, to library story time etc), support his language and physical development, and get him down for his 1x daily nap (in crib). We practice responsive parenting, no sleep training, and would look for someone comfortable with that who is able to rock/support our son to sleep if necessary. Bilingual or child development experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities focused on care for the kiddo, with maybe some light meal or snack prep (making a sandwich, cutting fruit etc), picking up toys, and putting bottles/dishes in sink.
