A little bit about us

Hello, I’m a mom recovering from brain surgery and radiation. We are hoping to find someone to come 1x a week (the day is currently flexible) to help watch our kids when I have medical appointments. We have a 19M old girl and an almost 6 year old boy. The 6 year old is in Kindergarten most of the day, so the job is mostly watching, reading, and playing with our toddler. Ideal time would be 6am - 4pm every Thursday, but again, this is flexible for the right person.

The 19M old naps 2x a day at the moment, but expecting her to drop to 1x a day soon. We may ask for help with folding kid’s clothes or other asks with the kids, but the focus would absolutely be play and reading. For the Kindergartener we may ask for help with dropping or picking up from the bus (which is a quick walk down our street). Overall, they’re both easy going kids.

Just to note, we have an older cat in the house. He doesn’t need any care and sticks to himself. A final note is the my husband works remotely and he or myself will almost always be around or available if needed. The exception being if I need him to go to a medical appointment with me.
