Family of 5 seeking a warm, capable nanny to assist stay-at-home mom on weekday afternoons, 3-5 days per week. We have 3 kids: boys ages 5 and 3 and a newborn girl. You'd care for the baby solo while I do school pickup, then work alongside me through the afternoon: after-school snacks and decompression for the boys, help with the baby during the afternoon/evening hours, and getting dinner on the table. We're looking for someone calm and confident with preschool/kindergarten age-kids, ideally with a background (or degree in progress) in early childhood education, child psychology, pediatric OT, nursing, or similar. Newborn experience required. Must be comfortable with dogs. $27-32 hr depending on experience. We're metro and bus accessible. I am looking for assistance after school from around 3 pm to 8 pm two to three days a week, depending on my schedule. Some driving will be required but I can supply a car. Outside of school, my daughter's main interest is horseback riding and competes in jumper shows. My son is into soccer but also fascinated by computers already. He would need light meals prepared for breakfast & lunch (food warmed or a sandwich.) Only only requirement is that he is taken to the park/outside for an hour a day, weather permitting for outdoor time. We are walking distance to a park and a stroller would be provided. Then he would nap 1-2 hours.
