Part-Time | $20/hr
We’re a kind and busy family located off Dorchester Road near International Parkway, looking for a dependable and warm-hearted individual to assist with our weekday morning routine.
This role is ideal for someone already commuting from North Charleston or Downtown—or anyone who enjoys working with kids and making a positive impact in just a few hours each day.
🕐 Hours: 6:20 AM – 8:00 AM
📅 Days: 4 weekdays per week (flexible schedule)
🚗 Role: Safely drive a bright and awesome young girl to school — safe driving and great energy are a must!
💵 Pay: $20/hour

We are looking for a part-time sitter for our 5-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son. Our schedule is a little unique because we are both first responders (firefighter and 911), but our shifts are planned well in advance, and we can provide a schedule weeks ahead of time.

Typical morning duties:

Arrive at our home around 6:00 AM (there may occasionally be a 5:00 AM start, which will be communicated ahead of time)
Help the kids wake up and get ready for school
Prepare any needed bags/lunches and help with the morning routine
Drive my son to his 3K program (approximately 4 miles away)
Drive my daughter to Mary Ford.

Typical afternoon duties:

Pick up my daughter from Mary Ford
Bring her to my son’s childcare center for after-school care
Pick up both children
Bring them home and care for them until approximately 5:30 PM

We understand this is not a traditional set weekly schedule, and we may need to work with one or more people to cover everything. We are happy to be as flexible as possible and are looking for someone reliable, comfortable with kids, and willing to work with a schedule that is provided in advance.
