The family is looking for someone who is warm, active, and genuinely happy to spend the day with their baby. Candidates should be naturally tidy and organized, willing to load and run bottle washers, put bottles away, do baby laundry, and help keep the home tidy. The family values applicants who are reliable, punctual, organized, knowledgeable about child development, communicative, and excited to work with babies. There is no parking available at the home, so the family prefers candidates who can use public transportation. However, they may move to the Brookline area in mid-2026 and would appreciate candidates who could drive if public transportation is not easily accessible. There is one dog in the family, so candidates should be pet-friendly.

We are flexible about the days you would work but are looking to start with two days a week and if it goes well increase to three days a week potentially. We would love someone to help from 8 am- 6 pm each day but again we are flexible for the right person.
We would like you to have sole charge of the baby during the day while I rerun errands, nap, catch up on housework and then help with my five year old son when he comes home from school at 3:30.
We would potentially also need someone to drive our five year old to after school activities (or stay home with the baby while I do it).
We also need vacation cover help the week of Feb 6th. Grandparents will be in charge but will need more help that week (ideally 5 days) so you would be responsible for the baby during the day when we are on holiday.

7a-9a: Help get kids ready for school and onto the bus. If someone has a before-school activity, you might need to drive them to school.

4p-6p: Get kids off of the bus and ensure they do their afternoon chores. If someone has an after-school activity, you might need to drive them to it or pick them up from it.
