Part-Time Nanny Job: The Chew Family with 2 Children
I have twins (boy/girl) that are 10 months. They are super sweet, friendly, and happy babies that like to roll around and play with blocks. My husband and I work from home but are looking for a part-time (2-3days per week) nanny/babysitter with the potential to become full time. We need someone who is willing to do developmental games, feedings, walks outside, and help with cleaning the twins bottles, keeping the nursery tidy and help with their laundry is a plus but not mandatory. We have a super friendly dobbie but he will either be locked up or at daycare during the day. However, someone who is good with pets is strongly preferred. Lastly, Jeremy and I are very out going people who care deeply for our twins. We’re looking for someone who can be an extension of us and will help our twins hit their milestones, learn and explore. We are a warm, busy family seeking a reliable and organized part-time Family Assistant to help with household tasks, morning routines, and light pet care. This is a long-term position for someone who enjoys working in a family home and keeping daily life running smoothly. 4 hours a day can be morning or afternoons or a mix of the two. Can be flexible to fit your schedule.
Responsibilities:
• Daily laundry (wash, fold, and put away)
• Preparing simple, healthy family dinners
• Light kitchen cleanup after cooking
• Morning help getting children ready and out the door for school
• Walking the family dog
• Feeding the cat
• Light tidying related to daily tasks (not deep cleaning)
Requirements:
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working around children and pets
• Able to prepare basic family meals
• Comfortable walking a dog
• Previous family assistant, nanny, or household experience preferred
• Non-smoker
• References required
Nice to Have (Plus):
• Ability to prepare plant-based meals
• Experience working with families and children
• Ability to consistently start at 7:00 AM
Compensation:
• $25/hour
• Guaranteed weekly hours (20 hours/week)
• Paid weekly or biweekly
