Family of 5 seeking a warm, capable nanny to assist stay-at-home mom on weekday afternoons, 3-5 days per week. We have 3 kids: boys ages 5 and 3 and a newborn girl. You'd care for the baby solo while I do school pickup, then work alongside me through the afternoon: after-school snacks and decompression for the boys, help with the baby during the afternoon/evening hours, and getting dinner on the table. We're looking for someone calm and confident with preschool/kindergarten age-kids, ideally with a background (or degree in progress) in early childhood education, child psychology, pediatric OT, nursing, or similar. Newborn experience required. Must be comfortable with dogs. $27-32 hr depending on experience. We're metro and bus accessible. I have a 13 year old daughter and an 8 year old son. We also have a one year old Irish setter. I am looking for assistance after school from around 3 pm to 8 pm two to three days a week, depending on my schedule. Some driving will be required but I can supply a car. Outside of school, my daughter's main interest is horseback riding and competes in jumper shows. My son is into soccer but also fascinated by computers already. Part-Time Nanny Job: The Kopp - Giron Family with 2 Children
Looking for a nanny/mother's helper for M-Th weeknights and occasional weekend babysitting for 2 girls, ages 4 and 6.
Approximately 5-10 hours per week.
Ideally we'd like someone that can pick up our daughters from the local school (walkable) and sit with both kids, prepare meals, and do light housekeeping (unload dishwasher, prep lunches, fold laundry, etc). Maybe take to playground or backyard when the weather warms up. Being able to drive our car is a plus - older kiddo has dance class every Monday evening (on the Hill).
Most nights one or both of us can be free by 6 or 7, but my husband will need to start traveling for work, so may be extra late on Thursdays (I work until 9 every Thursday).
Kids are sweet, funny, and energetic and generally come home excited and ready for dinner.
We have a dog and a cat - both friendly and require no care (other than maybe a pat on the head).
