Part-Time Family Assistant / After-School Helper

Location: Danville
Hours: Monday–Friday, approximately 2:30 PM–5:30/6:00 PM (hours may vary slightly)

We are a busy family seeking a reliable, organized, and energetic Family Assistant to help keep our household running smoothly during the after-school hours. We have two children, ages 7 and 10, who are involved in sports and extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities Include:

Childcare & After-School Support
- Prepare healthy after-school snacks
- Help supervise and support homework completion
- Assist children in getting ready for sports practices, games, and activities
- Drive children to and from activities
- Encourage positive behavior and maintain a calm and supportive environment

Household Assistance
- Keep kitchen and common areas tidy and organized
- Clean up after snacks and meal prep
- Assist with children's laundry and occasional family laundry
- Prep simple family dinners and meal ingredients
- Run occasional household errands (grocery pickup, returns, etc.)
- Help maintain an organized and orderly home

Ideal Candidate
- Has experience working with school-aged children
- Safe, reliable driver with clean driving record and own transportation
- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
- Comfortable multitasking and helping manage a busy family schedule
- Positive, dependable, and enjoys working with children
- Punctual and accountable

We are looking for someone who can become a trusted part of our family's routine and help create calm, organized afternoons for both parents and kids.
