Part-Time Nanny Job: The A Family with 2 Children
Hi! My name is Lisa and my husband is Chase. He’s working during the day so you won’t see him much.
Hoping for help with my girls, Lily (6) and Sage (1). I’m looking for someone that can commit to at least a year. Hoping to find someone that can be apart of our family long term.
Lily is super sweet and girly. She is also strong willed. The more you can be creative and make things fun and silly, the better.
Being you’ll start in the summer this won’t matter much because she won’t be on a schedule aside from a couple weeks for camp. However looking for someone with experience with kids. I will ask you to take her to school or summer camp a few days/ week. After Lily’s off, I need someone to care for baby Sage while I’m out. Sage is a very happy & sweet baby.
Hours:
1. Tuesday 9-2
2. Wednesday 1-6
3. Thursday 10:30-2
4. Friday 9-2
Requirements:
Experience with babies (please let me know the ages you’ve worked with and length of time)
CPR certified
Drivers license
Know how to swim
Ok with animals
Responsibilities:
Meal prep
Dishes
Tidy the living areas and bedrooms
before you leave
Light laundry on Fridays (Sage needs her onsies washed and put away in her Jammie drawer)
Keep kitchen organized
Set aside clothes that are too small constantly
Keep the girls rooms organized
Nice to have:
Meal prep
Instructor experience (swim, dance, etc.)
Speaks another language
Play piano
Enjoys arts and crafts
Tutoring experience

Typical hours would be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are an adventurous family that loves the beach and outdoor activities. My husband and I work from home, and we are looking for a nanny to take care of our children full-time. We approach hiring a nanny with care, and we are truly looking for someone we can welcome into our family for the long term. Chloe is almost 3 and loves dance class, swimming lessons, arts & crafts, and any and all make believe and imaginary play. We are looking for someone to take her to activities and keep her engaged through the day. Parker is our newborn. Responsibilities would be as a mother's helper until I go back to work full time.
Responsibilities for Chloe would include:
● Make/serve breakfast in the morning, and clear away plates.
● Help Chloe get dressed and brush her hair
● Make/Serve lunch, and clear away plates.
● Take Chloe to set activities. Activities may include: dance class, swimming lessons, soccer, or crafts (Not every day has activities planned, and they are subject to change).
● Research and plan small daily outings if no activities are scheduled for the day. Options include: trips to the library, park, beach, etc.
● Plan age-appropriate home activities, such as craft projects, workbooks, flashcards, board games, etc.
● Help facilitate quiet time (Chloe does not nap).
● Engage in pretend play and lots of conversation!
● Help us maintain gentle parenting standards
Responsibilities for Parker would include:
● Defrost breast milk and provide bottles at designated feeding times.
● Burp as necessary.
● Change diapers.
● Baby wear and keep the baby close while also looking after our 3-year-old.
● Promote tummy time and other age-appropriate play.
● Put down for naps at designated times when possible.
● Talk and read to as much as possible!
