Part-Time Nanny Job: The Snyder Family with 2 Children
Looking for a part-time nanny/mother’s helper one consistent day per week — ideally Tuesdays, approximately 8:30–4:30 in LeClaire. (Could potentially split this up into two slightly shorter days if needed.)
We have two boys — a preschooler and an almost 1-year-old. Our preschooler attends school for 3 hours, so for a good portion of the afternoon it would just be the baby.
Ideally, we’d love to find someone comfortable handling preschool drop-off and pickup as well so I can have one truly uninterrupted workday each week.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys kids, is dependable, engaged, and proactive. Kids obviously come first, but we’d also love someone who is happy to help with light household tasks when the baby is napping/happily playing or our preschooler is at school — things like loading/unloading the dishwasher, folding laundry, tidying toys, light kitchen cleanup, etc.
Nothing crazy or deep cleaning, just someone who naturally doesn’t mind pitching in around the house during downtime.
We’re very open to a college student, mom looking for one consistent day of work, retired teacher/daycare provider, or someone with childcare experience who wants a dependable part-time position. The right personality and fit for our family matters more to us than having a long professional nanny résumé.
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record would be important if helping with preschool transportation. CPR/first-aid experience is a plus.
