Hello! I am currently looking for a warm, bubbly, and loving childcare professional to help care for our one year old during the week while I work from our home in Chicago, IL. The position would be M-Th from 9 AM - 4 PM, with potential for more hours if the fit is right. Responsibilities would include keeping our child safe and entertained with age-appropriate activities, feedings, naps, diaper changes, cleaning up after baby (nursery, bottles, dishes, laundry, etc.). Must be comfortable with animals as we have three large, very friendly dogs. Ideally our person would help with short potty breaks for the pups towards the end of their shift as well. Expectations would be professionalism, transparency, up to date on vaccinations, CPR certified, clean background report, experience with infants/toddlers, English as a first language, and we would also want this person to stick around long-term. Your Afternoon With Us Might Look Like:
• Arriving at our home to tidy up, start a load of laundry, and possibly begin meal prep
• Around 2:15–2:30 PM, pick up our two boys from school using your own reliable car
• Return home, where our mother-in-law may be dropping off our baby girl (almost 1)
• Support us in keeping the boys entertained and engaged — we love when they’re active and creative!
• Help with cooking dinner, folding and putting away clothes, and light household tasks
