Full-Time Nanny Job: The Webb Family with 1 Child
We're looking for a warm, experienced newborn nanny to join our family. This is our third baby, and we're excited.
The basics:
- Monday to Friday, 1:30pm to 9:30pm (a little flexibility on our end; we just need you in by 2pm at the latest)
Start date: mid-November 2026, around baby's arrival (baby is due by 11/24 and may come earlier; we'll work out the exact start together, including Thanksgiving week)
- Ends early June 2027, when baby starts daycare
- Pay: $30 to $40 an hour, depending on experience.
What you'll do:
- Be the primary caregiver for our newborn during your shift: feeds, diapers, naps, soothing, and the evening routine.
- Do light housekeeping: baby laundry, dishes, tidying, and washing bottles.
- Take baby out beyond the neighborhood once baby has had the 2 month vaccinations. Driving is optional but welcome.
- Step in for a few minutes if a parent needs a bathroom or pumping break while all the kids are home.
About our family:
Parents are tech professionals who have been in the Seattle area for 8 years. We have two older kids, 4.5 and 2.5. They have their own nanny, and you'll be working alongside her. We want the big kids to bond with their baby sibling, so you'll help make that easy and fun whenever they want to visit the baby. One of Mom, Dad or other Nanny will be home for chunks of your shift, so you won't be on your own all evening.
Must haves:
- Newborn experience (non-negotiable)
- Current infant CPR and first aid
- Reliable, kind, and calm when the baby isn't
- clean background check
- Covid, Flu, Tdap vaccines
Nice to have:
- Experience on a multi-nanny team or with multiple kids
- Driving and a clean record
Pets:
We have a 45 lb cattle dog/pit mix. She's 6+ years old and loves being around the kids; she just takes a little while to warm up to new people. Dog care isn't part of the job, but you should be comfortable with her around.

We are searching for someone who is loving, a good communicator, and wanting to grow with our family to help support our incredible 3 and 9 year olds.
We truly value our nanny and have had amazing on-going relationships with our previous 2 nannies since our oldest was 1.
Some peculiarities about this role that might be helpful to know:
-This roles averages 25 hours per week, but more accurately will be week A: 20 hours week B: 30-35 hours (repeat).

-care is needed every Saturday from 8-2pm
-willingness to travel (paid of course) on occasional vacations is a big plus
-ability to do occasional overnights when both parents travel for work

They are engaging, curious, adventurous and tender hearted girlies, and they are sure to make you laugh on a daily basis. My name is Hannah, I've been a full time mom since M was born but will be transitioning into a new career this year. Derek, the girl's Dad, works mostly from home and has a unique sched. We spend lots of time outside, walk more often than drive, e-bike every day in the summer, and spend time creating something with our hands every day (if art is your thing, that is a huge bonus!). We love to see the girls using their imaginations and discovering the world around them. Girl/Boy are energetic and very caring and talkative as well. Need care for Monday to Friday before school at 7 and drop them off at school. Pick them up when school is done till I get home.
