A little bit about us

Seeking an extremely patient individual to assist with child that has special needs. Previous experience a plus. This person is expected to pick child up from school and return home to be present during supervised ABA therapy sessions. They will need reliable transportation for in town Speech and OT appointments. Additionally, this person should be comfortable with being recorded while caring for a child in the home and in car. A car camera would be provided. Hours would vary between 12pm-6pm, 4 hrs per day.

My 6 year old boy Charlie will just need someone to pick him up from school (Oakbrook Academy in Cordelia) 2-3 days a week at 1:30, take him home and sit with him until I get home around 3:30. We're only a half mile down the road from the school. He is the sweetest boy that you will fall in love with. I do have two cats and two dogs, a Jack Russell and Golden Retriever, who are good with strangers though the golden is a little excitable when first meeting, but is gentle and not aggressive at all. No expectation of pet care or housework. If you want you can help Charlie with homework, though I usually do that when I get home. He is more than capable of getting his own snacks and drinks, but will probably try (and succeed) to charm some candy out of you. Help is needed for all of April, May and early June, starting 3 April if possible.
