Hi there, we've got 1 four-month old boy and are looking for someone to come take care of him 3-4x a week, for about 4-5hrs at a time. Mom and Dad work for nonprofits and educational institutions and are home most of the time - we just need an extra pair of hands! Weekends:
Saturday evening coverage for date nights.
Additional, flexible hours for supplemental coverage as needed - to be discussed with the family directly.
No driving required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide emotionally attuned care for a 2.5 year old and 4 month old.
Implement developmentally appropriate activities within bedtime routines each night.
Support the family with childcare related tasks and family assistant tasks to provide smooth transitions through the evening.
Assist with light household tasks that reduce the family’s mental load (kitchen cleanup, dishes, tidying play areas)
Partner respectfully with the parents to maintain continuity between authority figures.
Serve as consistent, reliable coverage during evenings and weekends
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
3-5+ years of professional childcare experience
Experience with infants and toddlers
CPR and First-Aid Certified
Calm, warm, engaging personality
Strong communication skills
Ability to partner well with parents and pass off tasks and responsibilities as needed
