Part-Time Nanny Job: The McCoy Family with 1 Child
Warm, active nanny needed for our 6-year-old—not general babysitting. We need real experience with neurodivergent, demand-avoidant kids.
She's neurodivergent, mainly showing up as demand avoidance: she thrives on choices, not commands, and gets rigid when boxed in. She's imaginative, a skilled builder, loves art and animals (especially cats), and is always up for a game, trampoline, or monkey bars. She engages with reading/math/writing only if it's playful, never worksheets.
Past after-school programs didn't work—she couldn't decompress until home. We want someone who meets her one-on-one, on her own terms.
Must drive her to activities (gymnastics start-up planned). Patient, playful, low-demand language a must. Background check and references (ideally from neurodivergent families) required. Paid trial offered.

Babysitter Job: The Cromwell Family with 2 Children
We're looking for a warm, engaged sitter for occasional, flexible care — a mix of after-school/camp and date-night sitting on both weeknights and weekends, usually +/- 4 hr. During summer our schedule isn't on a fixed weekly rhythm, so this is best suited to someone looking for flexible hours (at least for now, we may seek more regular care when school starts).
Our daughters are 9 and 11, curious and creative, with distinct personalities and interests. They love art, stories, music, and adventures, and they thrive with a sitter who's genuinely present and up for joining in.
What the role involves:
• Mostly playing!
• Supervising light chores and homework
• Preparing simple meals and snacks
• Outings and excursions around the neighborhood
• Bedtime routine on later evenings
• Keeping the mess contained and house tidy
• Sometimes picking the girls up from school or camp (own transportation and a clean driving record required)
The most important quality for us is someone who actually engages — plays attentively and creatively rather than just supervising, and who's off their phone and present with the kids. Our favorite sitters have been the ones who connect with each girl individually and bring warmth, imagination, and energy to their time together. We're also looking for someone reliable and communicative (prompt, consistent, easy to coordinate with) who can be playful yet comfortable setting kind, age-appropriate limits when needed. Confidence and good judgment in new or unexpected situations is a big plus. CPR and first-aid certification is a nice-to-have, not required.
Logistics:
• Schedule: Occasional and variable, weeknights and weekends, scheduled in advance
• Pay: Starting at $18/hour, depending on experience
• Start date: ASAP
• Must have your own reliable transportation
• References required
If this sounds like a fit, we'd love to hear a little about you, your experience and interests!

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Booth Family with 2 Children
Monday-Friday 1:30-3:00pm. My Husband and I work at Daily’s and our schedules slightly overlap during the day. Both kids are well behaved and easy. Our 1 month old is currently on formula and is bottle trained. She will probably sleep most of the time. My older daughter loves games and is very into everything princess. We have a cat, he’s more like a dog and loves attention. Would be easiest to watch at my apartment due to transportation at the moment.
