Hi everyone! We are looking for a caring, reliable nanny, postpartum doula, or mother’s helper in Laurel, MD beginning in early July.
Our daughter will be about 6–7 weeks old at that time. I will be home during the day, but I’m looking for someone who can help with newborn care, bottle feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and holding the baby while I pump, eat, rest, or take care of things around the house.
Hours are flexible, but daytime availability is preferred. This position may have the opportunity to continue long-term when I return to work remotely.
We’re looking for someone with newborn experience who is dependable, patient, and comfortable working alongside a parent who is home.

Please plan to be active with them - take them to parks and playgrounds, arts and crafts. The older is on the ASD spectrum, but extremely high functioning and intelligent. Requires extra patience at times and understanding with different ways of thinking and reacting.
We pay on a FLSA-compliant salary basis, with several holidays off, and paid vacation / personal days.
We do have a large dog, so the ideal candidate will need to be good with a large, noisy house-bear who thinks she's a lap dog.
