Hello! I am currently looking for a warm, bubbly, and loving childcare professional to help care for our one year old during the week while I work from our home in Chicago, IL. The position would be M-Th from 9 AM - 4 PM, with potential for more hours if the fit is right. Responsibilities would include keeping our child safe and entertained with age-appropriate activities, feedings, naps, diaper changes, cleaning up after baby (nursery, bottles, dishes, laundry, etc.). Must be comfortable with animals as we have three large, very friendly dogs. Ideally our person would help with short potty breaks for the pups towards the end of their shift as well. Expectations would be professionalism, transparency, up to date on vaccinations, CPR certified, clean background report, experience with infants/toddlers, English as a first language, and we would also want this person to stick around long-term. We're hoping to have help 2 evenings per week, for 4 hours each evening, totalling 8 hours/week. Ideally, it would be from 6p-10p on Thursday and Sunday. But, we can be flexible on exact hours and days.
We love our baby girl, but would like to have some time to get other things around the house done, as well as some time with each other.
Ideally, Vivian would have 2 feedings during your hours (we would provide bottles), and while she is sleeping, it would be great if you would do her laundry, take stock of and organize the nursery, and do a bit of bottle prep for the next day. We have an automatic bottle cleaner, and my wife pumps throughout the day, though we supplement with formula.
