We are looking for a mature, dependable family assistant to provide occasional overnight care for our 14-year-old daughter in Gig Harbor when we travel. This is not a traditional full-time nanny position. She is quite independent, but needs a responsible adult in the home, transportation to and from school, sports and activities, help with meals, and general supervision. We also have dogs, so some light pet care would be part of the role.
Most travel would be planned well in advance and would typically involve blocks of 2–7 days, several times per year. A reliable car, clean driving record, comfort with overnight stays, and strong references are important.
