A little bit about us

I am looking for a bilingual nanny to help with care and culture my baby! I imagine a nanny coming in and talking exclusively in another language about all the things they are doing and the baby is doing, for example, when they are crying saying “i can see your crying, and those water droplets are so cute, are you needing a different carrying position, or are you hungry?! Let’s find out what you need! Thanks for communicating with me etc…”

Hours are flexible, but I prefer 2-3 hour time slots and require the same schedule every week, whatever we decide on.

Nanny must have a driver license and full coverage insurance or be able to drive my 5speed vehicle.

We are doing elimination communication in lieu of potty training, so nanny must be familiar or willing to learn, (it’s not hard!!)

Nanny also must be in good physical shape to be willing to go on walks taking turns carrying the baby regularly.

Nanny would ideally be a clean eater and able to cook cultured meals for momma :)

Looking for someone with progressive values, who is consistent, vaccinated, able to limit Covid exposure, and is a loving person to help care for our two-year-old. Would love to share the work with another family, as playing with other kids has really been missing for us. However, we would prefer to limit exposure, so we’re not willing to collaborate with a nanny/other family that has more exposure than we do.
Details-flexible hours. Our 2-year old is phenomenal-loves digging in the garden, playing with his toys, and reading books. Very easy-going and affectionate. Nothing other than childcare is expected.
