A little bit about us

I am looking for an experienced long-term nanny for my 3 young children, ages 3.5, 3.5, and 1 in the Woodbury, CT area.

I need someone for 2-3 days per week on a fairly regular weekday schedule (4-6 hours/day), plus approximately 3-6 additional full days per month. I’m an ER physician, so those shifts can involve very early starts (around 6am), long days until approximately 6:30-7pm, and occasional weekends.

1-2 days per week would be mostly with our 1-year old as the girls are in preschool 4 days/week. 1 day per week with all 3 children while I work from home. The other days will vary from month to month and I would arrange ER shifts based on our shared availability.

I am looking for someone who is warm, engaging, and genuinely enjoys young children, but who also has strong, calm authority, and can confidently manage 3 children independently. I value creativity, age-appropriateness, initiative, good judgement, health consciousness, and excellent reliability.

I’m also looking for someone who is comfortable with household management as part of this role, particularly on days when Henry is napping and the kids are at school. This would include children’s laundry, changing sheets, and towels, cleaning the kitchen, vacuuming, and routine bathroom cleaning.

I’d love to find someone who can become a consistent part of our family and provide dependable care without needing another adult to help manage the children. Experience with multiple young children is particularly important.
