My name is Josh, and I am a teacher and my wife, Carla, works in finance in NYC. We welcomed twins about 15 months ago, and have a 5 year old daughter. We are seeking a par-time nanny to start ASAP who is willing to bring lots of love and care to watch our precious babies after they get home from school. We hope that you would have experience engaging with young children, playing games, doing activities (indoors and outdoors), and preparing their dinner/bath/bed each day. The hours will be roughly ~3 pm - 7 pm, M-F. I am a teacher in Greenwich, and we live in campus housing at my school.
We are seeking someone with experience caring for three children, is nearby, has a car. Some days it will just be the twins, other days it may be all three kids. Also, we are hoping for help with light housekeeping for the babies (meals, the kids' laundry, and organization with their toys, etc.). Our apartment is a 2nd Floor walk-up, and you would need to be comfortable carrying the kids up and down the stairs at the same time. Two very loving kids with a lot of spunk. Oldest is very self sufficient but requires attention and has a pretty active calendar. She is in kindergarten and a girls scout. Youngest loves to eat, learn, and independently play. She needs someone to engage in activities while the oldest is in school.
Typical day is between 7-6 (10 hours in that time range) help to get kid ready for school or watch youngest while oldest is getting ready for school. Baby takes a two hour nap during the day and oldest gets out of school at 3. Summer would require taking kids to the country club on nice days and to camp for three weeks. Looking for someone to help maintain kids schedule, meal prepping, light house keeping, and errands since both kids will be in school in a year we will still want to keep the person on board but responsibilities with the home may increase.
