Full-Time Nanny Position for a 4-Year-Old with Autism

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable full-time nanny to care for our 4-year-old son, who is non-verbal and autistic. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children with special needs or a strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and nurturing care, ensuring a safe and engaging environment
Support communication through gestures, visuals, or other tools as needed
Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that encourage development and sensory engagement
Assist with basic daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and transitions
Perform light housekeeping to help keep common areas tidy
Drive our son to therapy sessions, activities, or outings as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience with special needs children (preferred but not required)
Patient, calm, and adaptable personality
Own reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Ability to manage sensory sensitivities and behavioral challenges with care
Comfortable with light housekeeping related to childcare

Would be open to a at home paid play date initially to introduce you to scottie and make sure you are comfortable around the dog! Once he warms up is he the sweetest cuddle buddy.
