A little bit about us

I will start out requesting a sitter from time to time. I’d like my kids to know the same person is coming all the time.

Eventually a transition will be 1-2 nights a week. We have a separate guest bed and bath. I’m sure there aren’t too many guy profiles on here. I can assure that I am REALLY in need of care.

Sitting for our 14, 8, and 6 year old will be about 4 hours at a time from just before dinner until bed time. Sometimes weekday, sometimes weekends.

The overnight schedule when that time comes is the normal daily school routine (wake up at 5:45, wake up littles, make simple breakfast, take littles to bus stop, ensure oldest walks out door by 7am be at home by 2:15, snack, dinner, bed at 8, oldest at 930) then do it again for 1-2 more days! And walk the dog 2-3 times a day.

I travel out of town for a living. If you can work with me, I’ll gladly work with you!

Our kids are mostly independent. However, I want someone here to keep the schedule, keep the routine, make dinner, and be here for emergencies.

Occasionally, they may have other events – like cross country practice – or we may run into a teacher’s day off, so we would like to see if the sitter may be able to play with them during those days. The 16yr old is self-sufficient, but the 10yr may require some playing time/socialization and be driven around.
