A little bit about us

We're looking for a nanny or nannyshare for our baby boy, James! He was born in October 2023 and we'll be returning to work in March 2023. We also have a dog, who would be in the house, if care is provided in our home. We live in Rogers Park and are open to dropping off our kiddo at a nanny's house, depending on location. We're also open to a nanny's child(ren) being with them while they're working. We're also open to some flexibility in time and hours, although would prefer close to full time care.

Our first son, Bennet, was born June 15, 2026. He is an extremely healthy, active and otherwise perfectly normal baby boy. I'm a CPA Audit Manager and prefer to work in office full time, 8 - 4. My husband works in construction logistics so he generally has more flexible hours in the winter and frequently just goes to his office for the morning, 7 - 1, or may be later/earlier depending on the day. We do have a wonderful dog so we prefer someone who is good with dogs. As Bennet is growing and developing fast, we want to make sure that all his development needs are being met. We like to do lots of floor time looking at pictures, practicing moving, learning to reach/grasp and gaining body awareness. All the things I didnt realize you needed to do until I became a mom and realized there is a lot more to do than just keeping baby fed and healthy! We've worked hard to encourage a feed-wake-sleep routine for Bennet and he's pretty good at sticking to regular feed times, though he doesnt always take a nap during feed cycles. We are on a daycare waitlist so we do just need temporary help, hopefully not more than 3-6 months.

Hi,

I am looking for care on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 am to 1 pm. I have a wonderful 7 year-old son, who is homeschooled and attends enrichment program on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am clinical therapist (PhD of psychology) and I am the owner of a clinical therapy practice. Right now I do telehealth. It would be nice to have help two days a week so that I can spend consistent mornings in my office. This would be a long term permanent position. We travel quite a bit and so there would be some days off and of course you would have notice. Right now, the responsibilities would be to play and make a PB&J or lunchmeat sandwich lunch and not much more.
