Babysitter Job: The Leigh Family with 3 Children

A little bit about us

I’m looking for a part time nanny primarily for my two twin boys (almost 5 years old) as I work virtually from home. I also have an 8 year old daughter who will need some periodic help with her homeschool but other than that is pretty independent on her own. Hours will range across M-F 8-5 but have flexibility as they will be in some homeschool enrichment classes. The first few shifts would be a short trial period to ensure a good fit for both parties and if so, then hours would be increased consistently.

We are a Christian naturally minded (mostly organic/gluten free) family. We homeschool so any experience with that is a plus. We are looking for someone who is patient and nurturing and knows how to de-escalate, calm down and redirect the kids when needed, while also enforcing healthy boundaries and teaching life skills (cleaning up after oneself, preparing snacks, etc.) as well as soft skills, such as empathy, care, communication and kindness.

Experience with multiples is also a plus! We also have two dogs (goldendoodles) that would be present but not require care.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, caring and patient. We expect light cleaning, kids' laundry, and meals for kids to be prepared / cleaned up after.

Ideal candidate would have several years of nannying experience, clean record, homeschool experience,
similar values and excellent references.
