Hello! I am currently looking for a warm, bubbly, and loving childcare professional to help care for our one year old during the week while I work from our home in Chicago, IL. The position would be M-Th from 9 AM - 4 PM, with potential for more hours if the fit is right. Responsibilities would include keeping our child safe and entertained with age-appropriate activities, feedings, naps, diaper changes, cleaning up after baby (nursery, bottles, dishes, laundry, etc.). Must be comfortable with animals as we have three large, very friendly dogs. Ideally our person would help with short potty breaks for the pups towards the end of their shift as well. Expectations would be professionalism, transparency, up to date on vaccinations, CPR certified, clean background report, experience with infants/toddlers, English as a first language, and we would also want this person to stick around long-term. My husband will be working from home on Fridays (and some Thursdays) so would be available in an emergency. These weekly hours would be guaranteed and advanced notice would be provided if there are any changes to the schedule. This would include daily care needs of our son (feeding, changing, playing) and potentially some light housekeeping. We also have a mini Goldendoodle so you would have to be comfortable with a very friendly 30 pound dog. Our dog would need to be let out in the backyard during the day as needed but otherwise she is fairly low maintenance as long as she has good company! We would need someone who has their own reliable transportation and we would supply a car seat. Requirements would include infant CPR /first aid certification and being up to date with COVID/flu vaccines. We are looking forward to finding someone who is a great fit for our family and most importantly someone who can provide safe care for our baby!
