A little bit about us

Our baby boy Arthur just turned two months. Artie is just starting to wake up to the world - he likes light fixtures, black and white photos, and bath time. I have a few more weeks of maternity leave and then I need to be back at work. My husband and I both work from home but we've realized it is going to be next to impossible to complete our work and take care of our son at the same time. My husband is in marketing and I am in publishing. We have a 12 pound daschund poodle cross who is very sweet.

We are looking for someone with experience with infants and their milestones as well as age based play. We also need someone who is vaccinated against Covid-19. Some education especially in a child care field is preferred but not an absolute requirement. The position will be based in our home, Monday through Friday. At a minimum we need the hours of 10am-4pm covered but may need longer dependent on meeting schedules.

Our ideal sitter would engage with our toddler children and assist them in learning. Our daughter loves books, puzzles, coloring, singing and dancing and playing outside. Our son is a very energetic guy so he needs a great deal of supervision as he gets into everything. He too loves to play outside and enjoys music, dinosaurs and trucks. We are seeking someone to come to our home whenever school is in session so you’d have weekends, holidays and summers off! We are seeking to pay about what we currently do for full time daycare which is $310/week . Our ideal candidate would be a non-smoker, friendly, upbeat and energetic individual who actively engages with the kids and keeps them busy throughout the day while maintaining some what of a routine for lunch and naps.
