Start date: Dec 27, 2025. Regular schedule: Tue/Thu/Fri 3:00–7:30 PM from Jan 5; flexible holiday hours.

Occasional cover: weekday date nights (typically [phone number hidden] PM) and some weekend shifts (afternoons ~4–6 hrs or evenings).

Required experience: proven work with children with ASD. Educators, speech/social development or behavioral support professionals encouraged to apply!

Primary focus for the child:
- Build and maintain predictable, hands‑on routines.
- Support speech, social skills, emotional regulation, and independence.
- Use patient, gentle, positive reinforcement; allow the child time and space while encouraging progress.
- Plan low‑screen, engaging activities that target communication, turn‑taking, and play skills.
- Implement calming transitions and bedtime wind‑downs.

Duties:
- School pick‑up and occasional transport to after‑school activities.
- Meal/snack preparation.
- Daily activity planning and routine maintenance.
- Monitor safety and household rules; report updates to parents.

Practical requirements- non-negotiable:
- Comfortable with a friendly dog.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Punctuality, honesty, clear communication, and confidentiality.
- Provide references documenting ASD experience.
MUST be: patient, consistent, creative in caregiving; prefers active engagement over heavy screen use.
