Part-Time or Back-Up Nanny Needed - 17Y, 9Y, 8Y, 4Y, & 3Y: We are a professional couple looking for a caring, responsible and experienced nanny to care for our five children - a 17-year-old girl, a 9 year-old boy, an 8 year-old girl, a 4 year-old girl and a 3 year-old girl. The oldest takes care of herself and the middle two children are in school so the nanny would only help with getting them off to school in the mornings on days when filling in all day and with after school snack and homework time. We generally need help from 4:00 pm - 6:30/7:30ish pm on Mondays-Thursdays and until 6:00ish pm on Fridays or, if filling in all day, from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday – Fridays on a live-out basis (we have a guest house that is available with further discussion), with occasional later evenings or overnight (if nanny is willing) for which the nanny will be paid overtime. We will need some assistance with transportation to after school activities as well as school pick up and occasional school drop off, so a valid Texas Driver's License, current insurance, safe driving history and a reliable vehicle is required (family vehicle available if nanny's car doesn't seat 4 kids in the back). We will provide the necessary booster seats and car seats for any vehicle. The nanny is a specialist working in the family's home, responsible for all tasks related to care of the children, including creating fun and exciting outings locally or out of town, potty-training the youngest, some cleaning and general housekeeping. The nanny will serve as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to children. The nanny must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well presented. The nanny may need to help with homework assignments depending on the school work brought home each afternoon. The nanny will be well treated and will receive a good wage, spot and annual bonuses, meals, have full use of the house, and be treated as one of the family.
