A little bit about us

We are a warm, loving family in Upper Marlboro seeking a dependable, nurturing, and trustworthy live-in nanny to help care for our infant and toddler.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves children, is patient, proactive, emotionally mature, and values creating a safe, calm, loving environment.

Responsibilities include:

* Loving care for infant and toddler
* Feeding / preparing children’s meals & snacks
* Diaper changes / potty support
* Nap / bedtime support
* Age-appropriate play, reading, and developmental activities
* Maintaining routines and structure
* Children’s laundry, bottles, tidying play areas / nursery

Light household support appreciated:

* Light kitchen tidying / dishwasher
* Occasional family laundry
* Light meal prep assistance
* General tidying of shared spaces

Ideal candidate:
✔ Experience with infants + toddlers
✔ CPR / First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
✔ Non-smoker
✔ Strong verifiable childcare references
✔ Must be willing to complete enhanced background screening and full reference verification
✔ Trustworthy, dependable, safety-conscious, and a strong communicator
✔ Previous live-in nanny or newborn care experience is a plus

Schedule: Flexible (to be discussed)
Compensation: Competitive; based on experience and arrangement
