A little bit about us

Hi! We have two girls, ages 2 and 5, and are expecting our third baby later this year. We’re looking for an occasional nanny/babysitter who can help with date nights, weekends, or other times when we need an extra set of hands. Most of our needs right now would be occasional and arranged in advance.

My husband and I both work from home, and our 5-year-old is homeschooled for kindergarten. With a new baby joining our family, there is a possibility that this could eventually grow into more regular or part-time help for the right person. Around the time the baby arrives, we may especially appreciate some daytime help with the girls, including helping our kindergartener work through her schoolwork, which typically takes about 30 minutes to an hour.

During the week, we try to keep the girls mostly screen-free, so we’d love to find someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with kids and coming up with things to do, whether that’s crafts, playing outside, reading, games, or other activities. We’re looking for someone dependable, caring, patient, and comfortable with young children who we can get to know and trust with our family.

Our primary need is childcare rather than household or pet-care responsibilities, and we’re hoping to find someone who could become a familiar and trusted extra set of hands for our family as our needs change with the new baby
