A little bit about us

We are seeking a caring, flexible, and energetic backup nanny to look after our 2-year-old boy when our primary nanny is out of town or unavailable. Our little guy is always on the move, loves to play, and enjoys new adventures! I work from home, so I'll always be around if needed, but I need someone who can provide focused care and fun activities for my son while I'm working.

Schedule will vary based on our primary nanny's availability – this could range from occasional days to several days in a row when she's traveling. Typical hours will be 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., though flexibility is a plus.

We're looking for someone who loves working with children, is patient and attentive, and can adapt to a changing schedule with short notice. If this sounds like a good fit, we'd love to hear from you!

Upfront, I know these are not regular hours and I apologize! Have my 11 year old son with me 50% of the time and our prior nanny is starting student teaching in January. Looking for morning help getting him to school on the days he is with me. And if possible Wed afternoon school pickup (open to mornings and Wed afternoons being different people if necessary). He is a special guy with Down syndrome. High functioning, mostly a speech delay with lots of silliness and sometimes some stubbornness.
Hours would be Thursday, Friday and every other Monday from 6:30am - 8:30am. Wednesday would be pick up from school at 12:30pm and bring to my house for his speech and OT therapies. Until 5pm or 5:30pm. Additional hours available if interested on weekends or week nights. Must have reliable transportation and be comfortable with dogs (Labrador retriever loves some extra attention). Home is Lindsey and Guadalupe and school is Ray and Recker in Gilbert. Pay $22 (flexible depending on experience).

I have 2 kids + 1 on the way (due May) Must have newborn experience and be comfortable with newborns!
My oldest is in school so you would only be watching my 3 year old son until our 3rd is born.

It will start with 2-3 days a week Mon-Wed 8am -12pm then starting in April we’re looking for 5 days a week, 20 hours.
No pets this year.

I do stay home full time so I will be home. Helping around the house and watching my son or running a quick errand are the typical type of tasks I will be asking for.
