Family of 5 seeking a warm, capable nanny to assist stay-at-home mom on weekday afternoons, 3-5 days per week. We have 3 kids: boys ages 5 and 3 and a newborn girl. You'd care for the baby solo while I do school pickup, then work alongside me through the afternoon: after-school snacks and decompression for the boys, help with the baby during the afternoon/evening hours, and getting dinner on the table. We're looking for someone calm and confident with preschool/kindergarten age-kids, ideally with a background (or degree in progress) in early childhood education, child psychology, pediatric OT, nursing, or similar. Newborn experience required. Must be comfortable with dogs. $27-32 hr depending on experience. We're metro and bus accessible. I am looking for assistance after school from around 3 pm to 8 pm two to three days a week, depending on my schedule. Some driving will be required but I can supply a car. We are looking for a live-in nanny for our two sons in Washington, DC. One is 2 years old, and the other is 4 months old. Our current caregiver is about to start a family of her own and is looking to stay at home with her son - we are so sad to see her go!
Starting in January we are looking for a warm, energetic and experienced caregiver to work with our family. Our ideal fit is for someone who can come up with activities and developmental games to help our boys grow and learn, assist with meal prep and feeding the boys, and do occasional light house work. We have one cat and request our caregiver be vaccinated.
The lodgings are a newly renovated english basement with a private entrance.
As far as compensation, we could offer $350 cash per week, plus food, lodging, and all utilities included.
