A little bit about us

We have a daughter 19 years old with Down syndrome. She is somewhat like a teenager and quite a bit like a 6 year old. She wears a pull-up. And changes herself. She can dress herself as well but all of this takes her quite awhile. We of course have to take over to make sure she makes the school bus on time. Kimmie goes to the adult transition program weekdays from 8-330. We are looking to have someone on hand to use for date nights and weekend getaways. Someone to entertain her at times and take her out to get her off of her iPad. Someone silly and fun but also allows Kimmie to have some time to herself. Sometimes she just wants to be left alone. We have a large but sweet dog and 2 cats.
