Hello! I am currently looking for a warm, bubbly, and loving childcare professional to help care for our one year old during the week while I work from our home in Chicago, IL. The position would be M-Th from 9 AM - 4 PM, with potential for more hours if the fit is right. Responsibilities would include keeping our child safe and entertained with age-appropriate activities, feedings, naps, diaper changes, cleaning up after baby (nursery, bottles, dishes, laundry, etc.). Must be comfortable with animals as we have three large, very friendly dogs. Ideally our person would help with short potty breaks for the pups towards the end of their shift as well. Expectations would be professionalism, transparency, up to date on vaccinations, CPR certified, clean background report, experience with infants/toddlers, English as a first language, and we would also want this person to stick around long-term. The twins are in daycare very close to our house and I intend to keep them in daycare so they are gone from around 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. (unless they are sick) or Saturday. Duties for the right candidate including. Breakfast, getting them ready for school and walking them to school. Cleaning, grocery shopping & cooking in the house while they are gone. Picking the kids up 4:30 pm, then helping with School & play time and taking them to Dance class, and other activities. Other attributes will be teaching discipline, hygiene, and family values. Putting them to bed between 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm. If Live In Accommodation will consist of 1 bedroom apartment style basement with kitchen, tv lounge independent entrance.
