A little bit about us

I am a stay at home mom for my 2.5 year old son, Luke. We are a Christian faith-based home. I am looking for a part time caregiver to come to our home 2-3 days/week so I can have some breaks and get out of the house.

Luke is an absolute sweetheart! Sports and toy cars are his favorite but he has a playroom full of toys to spark both fun and learning.

Since he spends most of his time with me, he is very attached to me and is still learning how to feel comfortable playing independently. I’m looking for someone who is calm, warm, nurturing, and genuinely enjoys engaging with toddlers.

Ideally, you would spend your time playing with him in the playroom, sitting down on the floor with him, talking with him, reading books, doing simple learning activities, and encouraging his confidence as he gets more comfortable with me being away. He has a very sensitive and loving temperament, so I’m looking for someone who is genuinely present and engaged with him - someone who enjoys getting down on his level, following his interests, talking and playing 1-1, and building a sweet relationship with him. I’m not looking for someone who simply supervises him; I’d love for his time with you to feel like fun, meaningful playtime together that he will look forward to doing again.

Lastly, he does ask to be held a lot - I do need someone who is able to get up/down from the floor, possibly while holding him.
