Part-Time Nanny Job: The Schaus Family with 2 Children
I have two active boys, 8 and 11! I’m looking for someone to pick them up from school at 3:30 and take them home, to tutoring or to hockey practice. Hours would be from 3:30-6 or 6:30 if you want more time!
We are pretty easy going and live a few blocks from their school. Car would be great but not required.

Before joining this group, we honestly had no idea what a “nanny share” was — and it has been such a gift to our family. We’ve been part of this share for nearly six years and absolutely adore our nanny, as well as the other families we’ve had the opportunity to share this experience with. It has been such a special community for our kids and for us.
We’d love to find another family in Edison Park, Norwood Park, Jefferson Park, Union Ridge, or the surrounding areas who is looking to join our community!

-Full-time care is provided for both families
-The children spend a few days in our home and a few days in the other home
-Our nanny travels between both homes

Hi! We're Camille and Alex. We are looking for a nanny to care for our 2-year-old girl and infant boy (dad will go back to work in March/April, when baby boy is 6 months) while mom works at home remotely. Our toddler girl is silly, super sharp, loves to read, pretend play, do arts and crafts, dance, take walks and explore outside. She's a little shy at first but is deeply loving once she gets to know you. Dad is a teacher, so our nanny's work schedule could follow the Chicago Public School's calendar if it works better for them (summers off, spring break, federal/school holidays.) Hours will be from 8:30a-4:30p, Monday - Friday. We live two houses down from grandparents, uncle, aunt, and 2 cousins, so playdates are easy! We live close to our toddler's gym class, library, etc so it's easy to find walkable activities for the week.

Allow me to tell you a little about our son: He's 5 years old and incredibly bright and talented. He enjoys trains, monster trucks, and puddles (water or mud). He enjoys chicken nuggets and french fries at any setting of the day. And, he is a huge helper who loves to laugh. We are seeking someone who can assist us M-F with pickup from school, mealtime, and bedtime prep. Light laundry (5 year old's clothes once a week), clean up of dishes and toys, and entertaining until parents return home. Would you be willing to help us?
