A little bit about us

We are a 2 physician household who start our day early to get to work. We are looking for a reliable nanny who is experienced with driving, looking after 2 sweet children & who is comfortable with some house manager duties since our 7 yr old daughter & 4 yr old son go to school full time. We are asking to hire on payroll. Duties include meal prep, packing kids’ school lunches & snacks, drop off & pick up, laundry, taking the kids to activities, organizing toys & kids' clothes by season, sick care, watching both kids when they both have random days off from school (2 diff schools have diff days off), Trader Joe’s and Target runs, other occasional errands, light cleaning & dishes.
We have a few house rules in regards to modest clothing in our home, and being in healthcare, we adhere to a strict hand hygiene policy and we are looking for a nanny who is willing to follow them and is also a non-smoker.
We are offering $26/hr. Hours vary week by week but they typically are between 30-38.5 hours a week when school is in session. There’s opportunity to have more hours if that’s a preference. Details of these hours will be discussed in the interview.
Every working day begins at 6 am and ends at 6pm when mom gets home after her job. However, while kids are in school, those hours will not require active childcare. We ask that you remain available as back during those hours. When either or both children don’t have school, the weekly hours can exceed 40. When that’s the case, the rate is $39/hr for every hour over 40 hours.
Benefits:
We offer 6 guaranteed paid holidays per year (New year’s day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor day, Thanksgiving day and Christmas Day).
We offer mileage reimbursement per the IRS website. We also offer 4 weeks PTO per year: we would need those weeks to coincide with our weeks off.
