A little bit about us

Hi my name is Carolanne and my daughter is River Rose. She will be 2 in January. She currently attends Growing kids in Chesterton across from the High School. I would need her to be picked up between 5:30 and 6pm which is when they close. My mother is no longer willing to watch her, even though I live with my parents. She also does not want you to come to the house to watch her either. “ She needs her space, and time to relax.” 😒. My daughter usually goes to bed around 7-7:30ish, and is usually starving by the time she gets picked up. More than happy to provide her meals. Now with my schedule my boss is willing to make it where I have set evenings there maybe sometimes where he has to switch it up. The set days though I can make based of you and what’s best for you. I am an assistant manager at Walgreens in Chesterton so the evening shifts I close the store. 98% of the time I’m out of there by [phone number hidden] latest. There are also days where I may have to work a mid shift and I would get off at 7:30. I do have an extra car seat too. Also depending on my moms moods or if she’s made plans I would need Sundays too. A full 8hr shift. Now if I work mornings I don’t have to take a lunch and I can be out of there by 3:30, or evening shift would be 2-10:30. I have a 5 year old daughter who is very helpful with her baby brother. She keeps him very entertained. She will be starting kindergarten this year so she will most likely ride the bus since the school is very close by. My 10 month old is quite easy and loves snacks. I have a serving job and work mornings. The schedule is not consistent day by day but the start and off times are always the same. My schedule comes out every Friday. I leave for work at 9:45am and I am always home by 6pm or earlier. I live with my mother who is a lot of the times home before me so in those cases she will be taking over from there. My rules are quite lenient as my daughter is quite well behaved. Just things like clean up your toys when they are not being played with and no tv while eating (she tends to space out on tv instead of eat). I try for not a lot of screen time but a movie in the morning or afternoon is okay. There are no allergies for either child. My son eats any soft foods and daughter eats a typical childs diet and loves fruit. I have two cats that are very nice and need zero care.
