We're a family of 6: 2 adults and 4 teens/pre-teens, with a three year old boxer dog, looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to help us after school, Tuesday through Friday, 2:45pm-5:45pm, in West Granby, CT.
$25/hour, plus gas or mileage reimbursement for driving errands or drop-offs. This could be an ongoing or seasonal position depending on fit, and start date is flexible.
Responsibilities include:
- Food preparation
- Putting away groceries
- Cleaning and organizing the refrigerator and pantry
- Emptying the dishwasher and washing dishes
- Laundry from start to finish including folding
- Organizing dresser drawers and closets including kids' rooms and clothes
- Making beds and changing sheets
- General household and kid help
- Driving the kids to and from activities
- Running local errands
Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
Attention to detail matters, especially with laundry and organizing.
Please note, our household is fragrance sensitive, so we ask that you avoid wearing strong perfume or cologne.
