**Part-Time Nanny Needed for Wonderful 10-Year-Old Special Needs Child**
We are looking for a caring, patient, reliable, and warm part-time nanny to help care for our active and amazing 10-year-old daughter.
**Schedule:**
**School Year**
* Weekdays: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
* Optional: 3 mornings per week, 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM, to help prepare her for school
**Summer Schedule**
* **July:** Weekdays 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM, plus 3 mornings per week from 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM
* **August:** Schedule will vary and can be discussed in advance
**Responsibilities:**
* Provide attentive care and supervision
* Assist with self-care and daily living activities
* Prepare snacks and simple meals
* Assist with feeding as needed
* Help with morning and after-school routines
* Work alongside and support her various therapists during after-school sessions
* Reinforce therapeutic strategies and routines as directed by her care team
* Engage in age-appropriate activities and provide companionship
* Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive environment
**Ideal Candidate:**
* Experience caring for neurodiverse children and/or children with special needs
* Comfortable collaborating with therapists and following therapeutic recommendations
* Patient, compassionate, dependable, and nurturing
* Able to engage with an active child and provide a safe, supportive environment
**Compensation:**
* Competitive pay based on experience

My daughter Amina is active. I like her to do reading and learning activities. Right now I only need Saturdays from 10 to 24hrs mostly & few on calls during the week. I’ll Uber nanny and Amina around to do outside activities. You really need to be a very attentive nanny to keep eyes on my child at all times. Except for bathroom she’s potty trained. She needs to do some homework and then play time. Saturdays are fundays but right now mommy has to work overtime. Again, may need some on call days when school is closed. No pets and I prefer a nanny that does not live with pets we have bad allergies to animal hair and/or fur.
