A little bit about us

Our smart, funny and well behaved 6 year old girl needs a nanny! We are open to both live-in Full Time and live -out Part Time.
Start date : on or around September 5.
Live out : 20 hours a week on average . Must have own car and be local ( NJ resident, max 15 Min drive from River Edge ) .
Typical day looks like this :
2 pm prepare lunch for child and clean up behind , tidy up child’s room, start child’s laundry if needed
3 pm Pick up from nearby school ( 1st grade ), Give lunch, take to sports activities or playground, organize playdates, creative play at home. Supervise homework completion. Complete child’s laundry as needed. Personal hygiene tasks . Provide loving and nurturing environment . Finish by 7 pm , 4 afternoons a week. Flexible weekday off, according to your and our agreement/ best needs. Weekends off.
Notes: We are in restaurants industry and might OCCASIONALLY need a late night babysit in case of an event . ( 1 x per month on average ) We are very big on no screen time ( no cell phones, no iPads, no laptops, no tv!) . Instead, want to keep busy, do crafts , do homework, play with friends. We are looking for a gentle yet firm nanny who will continue to build focus, social skills manners, kindness, organization and time management for our daughter.

Live in option
This is FT (30 hours/week) room and board included. All the above PT tasks + additional duties: 10 hours of family cooking, bath time, miscellaneous errands (put away groceries, post office, water flowers etc) , family laundry and housekeeping when child is in school ( 30 hours per week total). Will have 2 weeks paid vacation per year. We are looking for a neat, quiet/respectful person who can get along with our family of 3 in every aspect. Must be well experienced in cleaning , laundry and cooking. Can use our car for school pickups and activities . We have a beautiful newly renovated private en- suite bedroom+ bath on a separate floor, with private entrance. Weekends off .
