Babysitter Job: The Cochran Family with 1 Child
Baby Shawn is our first (outside of our two dogs that are definitely part of the family) and being new to the are and without family close, we need a bit of help taking care of everyone! Specifically during "normal" business hours M-F, and occasionally a bit of evening help as well. Both parents work from home, but travel for work (will not both travel at the same time) and we have room to accommodate a nanny and kiddo doing what they need to do all day without being in each other's way.

Schedule
Monday through Friday
7:30 AM to 9:30 AM
2:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Weekends
8:30 AM to 8:30 PM
After bedtime, any additional needs can be discussed as necessary.
What is included
This position includes full access to the home, with a private bedroom provided for your personal space.
Access to a truck or Tesla, if needed
Up to $90 per month toward your cell phone bill
Food included
Basic hygiene items included
Incentives at 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year, discussed upon hire
We do not have pets in the home.
Qualifications Preferred
Childcare or nanny experience
CPR/First Aid certification
Good swimmer
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Reliable, responsible, and safety minded
Able to maintain routines, boundaries, and a structured environment
Comfortable in a live in role and respectful of the home
Passport preferred for possible travel
Background check and references may be required

Pay will be a set rate based on experience, and we are willing to discuss a fair range that works for both sides.

1. Playing with kids, keeping them safe while I take a mental break/do some computer work/things around the house.
2. Help with meal prep - we need to revamp our diet so I'm hoping to find someone who can help with chopping lettuce, veggies, prepping sauces, bake potatoes, etc. Nothing gourmet, but can you follow a recipe? Bonus points if you are familiar with WFPB/vegan cooking. I intend to tag-team this, so we may both start prepping food in the kitchen with the kids, but inevitably one or more of the kids needs something in which case one of us continues with prep and the other assists the kiddo. Must be comfortable with either.
3. Light cleaning - helping kids put things away, clear/wipe the table.
Approximate days/times: Mon-Fri mid-morning or 3-5ish, must have your own transportation. Potential for Saturdays. Roughly 10hrs/wk, depending on how things go.
Random things - we have free roaming chickens, sometimes we dogsit, we cloth diaper, we aim for positive parenting techniques, we're currently working through a tantrum stage with the 4yo, the 1yo is in a stranger-danger phase so until he gets used to you being around your duties may be more focused on food prep. Hello. I am a paralegal that works from home at the moment and my husband is an architect intern. We both work from home and also have school from home. We need a person who will be able to help us take care of our 6 month old daughter at our home while we work. Just play with her, take care of her, feed her, we will change her.
