The role primarily involves caring for our 1-year-old during the day—meals, nap, play, outings, and age-appropriate activities—then picking up our 5-year-old from school and helping with her after-school routine.
We’re looking for someone proactive who creates a fun, calm rhythm, communicates openly, and balances patience with structure. Child-related household support includes the girls’ laundry, a daily bedroom/playroom reset, dishwasher help as needed, and toy/craft organization. No deep cleaning is expected.
Candidates should have childcare experience, reliable transportation, strong references, and CPR/first aid certification or willingness to become certified. Both parents work from home and stay out of the way.

The weekday job is just until school starts again, about mid August, but I would like to find someone who is available to babysit nights and occasionally days throughout the year.
