Hello! My husband Ross and I moved to Hickory from Denver, CO in July 2025 and welcomed our baby girl Ellory in February 2026. She is a happy girl and generally pretty easy going. We've found a full-time nanny, but she has some conflicts upcoming, so we're looking for someone who might be able to help us care for Ellory on an as-needed basis. My husband and I both work full-time, so we'd be looking for in-house care during the day (~8:30 - ~4:30) Please see below for the primary dates of coverage we'd be looking for, but we might have some additional one-off coverage needs as well. I am a single foster parent and full time employee. I work as a social worker and sometimes am not done with my day-job by 5pm in order. I am looking to find a sitter who can be available between the hours of 5pm and 7pm in case I need help picking up my kiddo from daycare and watching him/her in my home until I am home from work. This would be occasional and likely, last minute as far as being able to notify my future sitter of my need. I usually am able to give at least 3 hours notice of when I may need help picking up from daycare. My job is unique and challenging in that fact and I need someone flexible and reliable who can submit to a background check in order to be a sitter for any foster child of mine, per NC state regulations. I would love to talk more and get to know anyone interested in helping with childcare for my family, and to ensure we are a good fit for each other. I am pretty easy going and very open with communication! Non-discriminatory and judgment free zone, as long as you are safe and treat kids well, we will get along perfectly!

Our daughter is a two year old with a sibling arriving in September. We have been taking care of her at home ourselves since she was born as we don't have any family nearby. My husband Brett works from home remotely and takes care of her while working when I work 2-3 days a week. We are looking for a nanny to assist us on the days I work so my husband can also complete his work as well as a nanny to help us with occasional date nights, events, etc. My schedule can vary each week without set days, but will always be 8 hours a day on those days.
