Job Description:
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced nanny to care for our one-year-old, Drew. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for him, supporting his development through age-appropriate activities.
Responsibilities:
• Provide attentive care for Drew during the specified hours.
• Plan and implement activities that promote developmental milestones (e.g., play, reading, and sensory activities).
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks for Drew, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized space for Drew, including tidying up after meals and activities.
• Assist with nap and bedtime routines.
• Provide updates to parents on Drew’s activities, behavior, and any notable events during the day.
• Ensure Drew’s safety at all times, including monitoring him during outdoor play or outings.
• Light housekeeping related to Drew (e.g., cleaning his play area and toys).
Requirements:
• Previous nanny or childcare experience, especially with toddlers, preferred.
• First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Positive, patient, and energetic personality.
• Strong communication skills with both children and parents.

Hello! We have two children, but my one child is in school (she is 9). Our son Jacob is 2.5, and is a special needs child. He has cerebral palsy and occasionally has seizures as well. He loves music, cuddles, being outdoors and being on the move in his stroller or someone carrying him. He cannot sit, crawl, walk or feed on his own. We would be looking for care for him from 7: 15 AM to 3:30 Tuesday through Thursday. He’s a wonderful child to be around and his laughter & smiles light up a room. Thank you!
